I demanded NO bachelor party when I got married. Hell, if I wanna watch strippers there's like 50 bars in Winnipeg that have them...

Plus, getting drunk the night before your wedding is a BAD idea!

I was almost promoted to best man at my friends' wedding over the weekend. The groom and I sort of had an impromptu bachelor party. Easy to do in Vegas.

We got separated and I had to make sure I talked to him before the bride the next morning. Just to get our stories straight and stuff.

<font size="2" face="Comic sans ms, Helvetica, sans-serif">One of my friends almost passed out during the ceremony. Apparently holding the jacket of a hungover groom is another chore of the best man. I seriously thought I might have to catch him at some point.

I would've liked to have toasted them. And told my friend that I've winged all three of the toasts that I gave when I was best man. Apparently the person who did get to be the best man was unprepared and caught totally off gaurd. I could've salvaged the situation if I hadn't wandered off to smoke.
